Your tongue has the power to do many things. It can bless and it can also curse, it can build and it can demolish. This is why you need to be careful of what you say because once you have said it you can’t take it back.
Proverbs 21:23 says
Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.
We should use our tongue positively e.g. – to encourage and to pray etc. Even though you may think it cannot do much, your tongue still shouldn’t be used to do bad things and hurt people. If you use your tongue wrongly it can destroy things that are meant to be alive and resurrect things that should be dead.
